Britain's Got Talent is as much a platform for relative unknowns as it is for people with connections to the industry, so it should come as no surprise that one of the show's hopefuls has links to both Bridgerton and Love Island.
What a crossover.
Following the latest episode of BGT – which saw musical theatre super-group Welsh of the West End try their luck – it has been revealed that one of the group's members is the girlfriend of Bridgerton star Luke Newton.
Jade Davies, who is also the sister of former Love Island winner Amber Davies, has shared a number of loved-up selfies and supportive posts about Luke on Instagram, most recently celebrating his involvement in the period drama's third season.

Paying tribute to Luke, who plays Colin Bridgerton in the Netflix series, Jade wrote: "It's your time. And no one deserves it more. I'll be with you every step of the way".
The news comes after ITV denied that Britain's Got Talent was "fixed", after it was revealed that some of the contestants have prior links to either the Got Talent franchise or other competitions.
The Sun has reported that, of the 60 acts who have had auditions aired during the 2022 series of the reality show, 15 of them already have some kind of professional profile.
In response, a spokesperson for BGT denied the claims, arguing that it would be "wrong to deny these people the opportunity to showcase their talents and entertain the nation".
"All acts enter the competition with the hope of elevating their career to the highest level and help to reach massive new audiences which Britain's Got Talent brings in," they said.
Britain's Got Talent continues this Saturday (May 28) and the semi-finals and final will air nightly from May 30 to June 4. All shows air from 8pm on ITV.
