The road to Omaha is well underway, and the regular season is now in the books in college baseball. Conference tournament week has arrived, and the outcomes could have major impacts on the NCAA Tournament field. Entering tournament week, D1Baseball has released updated Field of 64 projections.

The regional hosting picture continues to take shape, although the results of the next week will undoubtedly have major impacts on who ultimately hosts. There will be 16 regional host sites, with four teams in each field. The winner of each regional will advance to super regionals, where a best-of-three series will be played with a trip to the College World Series on the line.

Teams are running out of opportunities to boost their RPI, which creates an important week ahead in conference tournaments. Big runs could propel some teams into the picture, while early exits could wreak havoc on the postseason hopes of others.

Each regional is paired with another, with the winners of the two facing off in super regionals. The regional for the No. 1 seed will be paired with that of the No. 16 seed, No. 2 with No. 15, etc.
