Is Tampa Bay Lightning left winger Ondrej Palat a good bet to register a point in Game 4 against the Florida Panthers? Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

NHL Monday bets: Four prop plays for tonight's action

We were able to salvage the beginning of Round 2 with a nice weekend, and now it's all about continued momentum into this new week.

We strangely have a back-to-back Monday night, along with the lone game from Saturday that helped us find some profit.

Let's keep things moving with some points props and a couple of shots on goal (SOG) looks.

Ondrej Palat point (-115 DK)

Palat got us his point Sunday, and all of the factors we highlighted remain in place for another go at it.

Now at -115, I'm loving going right back to him in a close-out game for the Lightning.

The two main reasons we went to Palat were Tampa's goals increasing when at home, confirmed by their five goals on Sunday, and Palat's success on home ice.

He now has a point in nine straight games at home, including all four playoff games in Tampa (five total).

The numbers suggest there's no need to be worried about the back-to-back, either. In 12 such occurrences this season, Tampa Bay is averaging 4.83 goals per game.

Parlay: Victor Hedman & Cale Makar points (+126 CZR)

We stick with that belief of Tampa goals and load up another familiar face from Sunday. Hey, if it ain't broke.

Victor Hedman now has a point in every game this series and nine total in seven games against Florida.

His partner Monday night will be Cale Makar, another top-line defensemen on the top power play unit.

I know I typically go Makar assist, but I'm pivoting to just his point Monday night. He has been getting off so many shot attempts this series, averaging eight per game through three games.

It feels like one is bound to get in the net soon, so I'll play it safe with his point in this inclusion, despite the odds being less so than with an assist.

Makar had his first point of the series in Game 3, his 11th of this postseason. He's been quite consistent on the road this year when it comes to points, recording at least one in 78% of away games this season.

Colorado's scoring has also taken a jump in the three road games they've played in these playoffs, averaging 5.67 goals per game when the visitor.

Always love combining a few defensemen points.

.5u parlay: Aleksander Barkov & Steven Stamkos over 3.5 SOG (+440 FD)

Listen, when we have a strong Sunday, it's hard to not go right back to the guys who came through for us. If this is reading similarly to Sunday's article, take it up with the police.

I will definitely be parlaying both of Barkov and Stamkos to get to three shots again, but this player performance parlay on FanDuel is hard to ignore. This has hit in two of three games this series, and these two guys remain the steadiest shooters on their respective teams.

My 3+ SOG parlay will have to wait, as that market tends to not open until later in the day. At +440, I like sprinkling a bit on an outcome that hit yesterday.

Ryan O'Reilly over 2.5 SOG (+100 CZR)

There is no reason at all for this to be at even-money Monday night, particularly when it was -120 in Game 3 and he covered (and scored another goal).

The Blues captain has now hit his SOG in all three games this series and seven of nine postseason games.

His attempts have remained solid and he has two goals to accompany these shots. He has gained our continued trust, especially at these odds.

Good luck Monday, let's keep things moving in the NHL and cash some bets.
