A woman in South Carolina was shot and killed by a deputy Saturday night, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. The shooting happened at about 8 p.m. on Old Stable Lane in Laurens County, according to the Laurens County Sheriff's Office. SLED said the woman was armed and died at the scene. The Laurens County Coroner's Office has identified the woman as Kalah Shannon Gary, 26. SLED said no law enforcement officers were injured.

A woman in South Carolina was shot and killed by a deputy Saturday night, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
The shooting happened at about 8 p.m. on Old Stable Lane in Laurens County, according to the Laurens County Sheriff's Office.
