Golf tournament to honor beloved assistant fire chief who passed away

Atkinson Fire and Rescue is paying tribute to Ryan Keogh while also collecting donations to help support the 43-year-old's family

ATKINSON, Neb. (KLKN) — Atkinson Fire and Rescue is promoting the Ryan Keogh Commemorative Golf Tournament, after the beloved assistant fire chief’s passing.

This coming Sunday’s event is capped at 27 teams and will cost $200 per group.

Officials are encouraging everyone to get their teams in early and come show support for the Ryan Keogh family.

Keogh passed away at 43-years-old last Monday, leaving behind a wife and several children.

You can register for Sunday’s tournament by calling the clubhouse at 402-925-5330.

Donations are also being accepted for those who can’t attend.
