Tucked away in Chester Springs is Birchrun Hills Farm, a family-owned farm that has been producing award-winning cheese and other goods since 2006, writes Ed Williams for Main Line Today.

Owned and operated by Ken and Sue Miller, and their two sons Randy and Jesse, the property boasts an underground aging facility and on-site creamery.

Also living at 1020 Davis Lane are the family’s 80 Holstein cows. They grow crops to feed the cows that produce high-quality milk responsible for the farm’s acclaimed cheeses.

The Millers pride themselves on being a part of the community. They are committed to sustainably and responsibly producing the highest quality products while focusing on environmental stewardship and the welfare and health of their animals.

They host specialty cheese tastings and a pop-up cheese shop on Friday afternoons.

If available, the Millers also sell whey-fed pork, pasture-raised beef, and veal.
