Auburn's
Tyler Stice begins play Monday afternoon in the 64-man NCAA singles championship. Stice, No. 18 nationally and a first-team all-SEC performer for the second consecutive year, will face No. 42 Steven Foreman of Northwestern in an opening round match scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. CT Monday.
The winner of Stice's match will face the winner of the match between No. 3 Adam Walton (Tennessee) and No. 90 Charles Bertimon (VCU) Tuesday in the round of 32.
Auburn's
Tad Maclean and
Finn Murgett, the 2021 NCAA doubles runners-up, received a No. 5-8 seed for this year's doubles tournament, earning them All-America status for the second consecutive season. The duo is ranked No. 6 nationally with an 18-5 overall and 10-2 SEC record this spring.
Tuesday, Murgett and Maclean will face No. 16 Brian Carnock and Mac Kiger of North Carolina in their opening round match of the 32-team doubles championship.

Bobby Reynolds said. "Tyler has been a workhorse at the No. 1 position for his second straight year and had numerous victories over the best players in the country this spring. Having experience from competing last year in the singles tournament will be beneficial this year.
"Tad and Finn have been a remarkable doubles team this spring. They have built upon last year's run to the NCAA doubles final, and I am confident they can do one match better this year."
The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 23-28 at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex in Champaign, Illinois. Live coverage is available on the TennisOne app. All matches in the individual championships shall be the best-of-three sets. No-ad scoring and a 7-point tiebreaker (first to seven points, must win by two points) at six-games-all will be used for all matches. In doubles, a 10-point match tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a third set.
Auburn finished 21-11 as a team, Auburn's first 20-win season since 2002. After reaching the SEC tournament semifinals, the Tigers were ranked No. 24 in the latest ITA team ratings and No. 22 in the Tennis Channel/USTA Top 25.
