Hey there! Hope you had a relaxing and invigorating weekend. Let’s set off on the right foot this week with today’s Heardle game. I don’t want you to worry about losing your streak if you get stuck, though. Relax. I’ve got some clues and the answer to today’s Heardle for you.

Today’s song might be giving you some trouble, though. Here are some clues to help you out.

  1. This is listed as a R&B/soul/jazz song on Wikipedia.
  2. It was released in 2004.
  3. It reached number four on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 18 in the U.K. singles chart. It stayed at the top of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for six weeks.
  4. This song won a Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
  5. It was inspired by the death of Aaliyah.

Heardle Answer For May 23

Today’s Heardle answer is “If I Ain't Got You” by Alicia Keys.

No dice for me this time. Not familiar with this song. In hindsight, I probably could have made an educated guess after Keys started vocalizing. Only four results turn up in the answer box when you search for Keys’ name. I would have been able to get it by process of elimination based on the ones I do know.

It’s a beautiful song though, and one that’s well worth listening to in full.
