It only took one solo home run for the Wildcats to upset the host team. Sharlize Palacios lifted one up off of Jordan Weber in the fifth inning to take the lead. Weber finished the day with one strikeout and just one earned run allowed.

Arizona's Devyn Netz pitched lights out against Mizzou. She finished the outing with three strikeouts and just two hits allowed.

The No. 15 seeded Tigers finish the season 38-22 overall and 12-11 in the SEC.

With the end of the year, MU will say goodbye to a standout group of seniors. Head coach Larissa Anderson said it is rare to have a team like this come around, but their legacy will live on in all of the up-and-coming players in her program.
