Mohamed Salah proved that it's not always such a happy occasion to pick up an award on the final day of the Premier League season, as he missed out on the one he really wanted.
Liverpool went into the final day of the season hoping that they could complete an unlikely comeback over Manchester City and win a second league title in three years.

They were praying for a masterclass from club legend Steven Gerrard, and his Aston Villa team, and ideally wanted a Philippe Coutinho goal to round off the Reds love in.
They got both of those but were ultimately left empty handed as Pep Guardiola's team went from 2-0 down to 3-2 up in the space of five hectic second half minutes.
Whilst it was undoubtedly an incredible season for Jurgen Klopp's team, not winning the title would have no doubt been disappointing, and that feeling was summed up by Salah.
The Egyptian won the league's Golden Boot and the Playmaker of the Season awards but you wouldn't exactly say he was over the moon at his achievements.
Clearly winning the league would have meant far more than any personal accolades that the former Roma forward was able to pick up.

His goal against Wolves, in Liverpool's 3-1 win, took his tally in the league during the current campaign to 23 goals, level with Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min.
The pair shared the award, and incredibly it's the second time in four seasons that Salah has shared it, having also been level with Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in 2019.
It's also the third time that no one has scored more goals than him in the past five seasons in England's top tier, a record only ever bettered by Thierry Henry's four in five seasons.
As well as his goals, no player has assisted more for his team in the league in the campaign than Salah, with the 29-year-old setting up 13 goals.

Liverpool teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold was next on the list with 12, and then a group of players had 10 assists, including Andrew Robertson.
The forward recently revealed that he wants 40 goals in all competitions for the season, and 15 assists, and despite being in the Champions League final he will likely fall a bit short.
Salah is currently on 31 goals, so would need nine against Real Madrid next week, then again, he is really determined to get revenge...
