Los Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout has reached a multitude of historic feats over the course of his career so far, and he once again achieved such an accomplishment on Saturday.

Trout starred in the Angels’ 5-3 win over the Oakland Athletics, which snapped Los Angeles' four-game losing streak. He scored during the sixth inning of the contest, and this run was not just another one in his storied career but was rather the landmark 1,000th.

As noted by MLB Stats on Twitter, Trout became the third player in MLB history to reach at least 1,000 runs, 300 home runs and 200 stolen bases through their age-30 season. The three-time American League MVP Award winner joined Baseball Hall of Famer Willie Mays and 14-time All-Star Alex Rodriguez on this exclusive statistical list.

More so, Trout is also 25 runs away from passing former outfielder Garrett Anderson to become the franchise’s all-time leader in total runs scored.

After missing much of the 2021 campaign due to a calf injury, Trout is not only back with the Angels this season, but he is proving to be an early contender for this year's AL MVP Award. He has so far posted a .422 OBP to go along with an American League-leading 33 runs scored through 37 games played in the season.

In the big picture, Trout is nearing several other notable milestones, which include being a mere 41 hits away from reaching 1,500 hits for his career with the Angels.
