KDPS investigate Saturday evening shooting

KALAMAZOO, Mich. —
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety were searching for a suspect involved in a Saturday night shooting.

KDPS responded to reports of shots being fired around 10 p.m. Saturday, near Mills and Lake Street.
Once on scene, officers found one victim suffering from multiple gun shot wounds.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated from suspected non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Police have no further information on the suspect involved and encourages anyone with any additional information to contact KDPS directly or Silent Observer.
