BINGHAMTON, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for a large area of Central New York until 9:00PM Sunday for the western part of the watch area and until 10:00PM for Herkimer County.
The counties included in the western portion of the Watch area includes Oneida, Otsego, Delaware, Chenango and Madison Counties.
Any storms could include winds of 30 MPH and hail.
