With 25 years’ worth of experience, Shelby Adams has mastered the quintessential American cuisine that you know and love. Shelby uses seasonal and local ingredients for his dishes, so you can feel good about the food being served.

Shelby sharpened his culinary skills at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute and finished school at Commanders Palace in New Orleans. He’s also worked with Bottega’s Frank Stitt and Chris Hastings.

2. Tasting TBL

Join the Supper Club by TBL. On Fridays, they offer a five course dining experience. Saturdays, you can save yourself and your partner a spot for their luscious 10 course meal.

Chef Tyler Lyne started honing his kitchen skills Culinary Institute of America. After he graduated, Chef Lyne learned from top totch chefs in Japan.

Chef Jennifer Lyne also runs Tasting TBL and has a wide array of culinary masteries. Jennifer has a background in French dishes and has worked at high profile kitchens in NYC.

Together the two have cooked notable clients such as Jay Z and Gwyneth Paltrow. Currently, Tasting TBL is working on opening an avant-garde French-style restaurant in Five Points South. We look forward to what they’ll be serving!

Chef Jon Harrison earned his culinary skills at Auburn University—can we get a War Eagle? According to Shelby Living, Chef Jon Harrison was selected to appear on Gordon Ramsey’s show Next Level Chef and even won the third episode’s challenge.

You’ll love Chef Jon’s eclectic usage of local foods in his dishes. The Birmingham food scene is as ambitious as it is good, so it makes sense that he takes inspiration from the wonderful food served here in the ‘Ham.

Back in September, Chef Markeith suffered a stoke while serving food in a client’s home. Though the stroke affected his left side and he had to spend time regainig his strength, he was determined to get back to cooking amazing dishes for Birmingham.
