Of all the indiscretions that have taken place over the last three weeks, the NHL is reportedly investigating
Jordan Binnington & the water bottle incident involving
Nazem Kadri. After colliding into the net alongside STL D
Calle Rosen, Kadri spoke with media post-game to elaborate on the situation from his perspective. During the interview, Kadri was visibly distracted.
A water bottle thrown in his direction on live TV. Binnington was alleged to be the perpetrator. The NHL is apparently investigating the incident:

The collision in question spurred controversy. Naturally given Kadri's history, many question his hard-nosed style & wonder if he intentionally drove into Binnington. The collision was obviously incidental & simply a result of heightened competition. As it were, Jared Bednar naturally defended his player & even contrasted the collision to the hit that saw Sam Girard to the hospital with a fractured sternum. Calling both legal plays.
News broke today that Binnington will be out for the remainder of the series:
Obviously, a huge loss for the Blues as Binnington stood tall against the Avs in Game 2 & the ~7 minutes he played in Game 3.
Ville Husso will man the Blues' crease going forward.
