Many people didn’t know how to feel about Call of Duty: Warzone when it was first released as they didn’t know if it would live up to the ranks of a top-tier Battle Royale genre video game. However, these thoughts were quickly changed as Call of Duty: Warzone became one of the most popular Battle Royale video games to date. Call of Duty: Warzone has evolved over the years, with updates in line with the latest blockbuster release in the Call of Duty franchise.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 was confirmed by Activision as it looks to continue this highly great success in the form of another video game. Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is going to go through a lot of different changes and will feel like a completely new video game and because of that.

There have recently been some leaks as to what the overall map locations may look like. Tom Henderson, who is a famously reputable Call of Duty leaker, has recently been very vocal about these rumors.

According to various of Tom Henderson’s comments, there should roughly be somewhere around 18 different main map locations to visit. As part of these 18 main map locations, some of them are rumored to be previous fan-favorite maps that were in the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, including Afghan, Favela, Highrise, Quarry, and Terminal.

Interestingly enough, these same five maps have also been rumored to be released in this year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 main installment. If these five maps did indeed make their way into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, there would be a greater chance that we see parts of these maps in Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Especially now that we have multiple rumors of these maps for both of the new Call of Duty video games, it appears that these rumors are headed on the right track.

When you take a look at some of the maps that the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 had to offer, most of those maps would be the perfect maps to have in Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Maps that haven’t yet come up in rumors yet are Derail, Estate, and Rundown. Derail would be great to have up in a snowy mountain top area, Estate would be perfect to have deep in the woods so players can fight for control of the massive mansion-style cabin, and Rundown would be perfect to have as a way to scavenge through all of the various buildings that map has to offer. Literally, there are so many great options available that I can see more than the five rumored maps making their way into Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

light. Also. Which edition of Gotham Knights should you consider buying?

Just like all rumors that are out there, they should always be taken with a grain of salt. As Call of Duty: Warzone 2 gets closer to its official release date, more and more information will begin to spew its way out. Until we get to that point, we will have to deal with all the rumors that are buzzing around. However, it really would be so cool to see various locations on the map be previous fan-favorite maps. Hopefully, these rumors turn out to be true,
