Does anyone know if the actor Trevor A. Toussaint has left his role as Walter Devereux in Hollyoaks? he hasn't been in for a while now, so just wondering if he has left the show for good? To be honest, I couldn't care less if he doesn't come back, I am just wondering that's all

As one human to another, I hope he is ok.
Yeah, same here. I hope the actor is ok
Agree, i loved Celeste, the new girl Zoe is rubbish and not a great actor either.
Toby was also good and possibly one of the few killers we could sympathise with due to his background.
I don't mind DeMarcus he is one of the better teens but overall i much preferred Toby, Celeste and Walter to Demarcus, Zoe and the dreadful Pearl!
I like Walter and think he's an interesting character but I have to assume the actor is sick considering the character hasn't been around in a good long while.
He would not be though if he had not returned to filming yet.
Either they need to announce this break or that he has infact left for good and kill Walter or recast off so he’s not in a limbo
I've just been nosey and had a peep at Trevor's twitter and can see his bio still says 'currently playing Walter in Hollyoaks' (unless he's just forgotten to change it) and also likes a lot of tweets by Hollyoaks and other cast members... but who knows, it is odd that it hasn't been addressed especially as the character was in vital need of a transplant!
In the middle of a transplant storyline is a bad time for an extended break of 9ish months at this point. Usually a break like that gets announced or addressed if it’s over 3 months.
They should honestly have had Walter appear until after the Toby. Reveal and had Toby die and Walfed get his transplant. Then recover off screen or just point blank killed him off rather than leave him in Limbo as Toby is now also in prison:
I mean if he wasn't coming back, or they knew he would be taking a longer break than expected they could have just addressed it by saying he'd found a suitable donor abroad. Much better than saying nothing at all.
If health reasons are the reason why Trevor has stopped filming. Then it genuinely could be a case of the show not knowing if or when the character Walter will return.
It does make it harder to address the character on screen if they don't know what will happen.
