Weekend one of MSHSAA State Track and Field wraps up

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Classes one and two both wrapped up competition at MSHSAA State Track and Field on Saturday. Multiple local athletes came away with state titles.

CLASS TWO

• Girls' high jump - Marceline's Ramzee Bruner in first place, Harrisburg's Carli Ellis in fifth place
• Boys' long jump - Salisbury's Cooper Francis in first place
• Boys' shot put - Harrisburg's Brayton Stephenson in third place
• Girls' 4x200 - Marceline in fifth place
• Boys' 1600m - New Bloomfield's Nathan Hinrichs in third place, Calvary Lutheran's Kyle Hagemeyer in fourth place
• Girls' 3200m - Brookfield's Alex Sharp in fourth place
• Boys' 4x400 - Harrisburg in fourth place

CLASS ONE

• Girls' discus throw - Calvary Lutheran's Sydney Morris in seventh place
