Soprano Olga Pasichnyk to Headline ‘An Evening of Ukrainian and Polish Song’ at Frost Chopin Festival

Soprano Olga Pasichnyk will headline “An Evening of Ukrainian and Polish Song” on June 22, 2022 at the University of Miami.

The showcase, which will be presented as part of the fourth annual Frost Chopin Festival, will also feature pianists Ewa Poblocka, Kevin Kenner, Malvyn Lai, Katherine Liu, and Saaya Hara.

The concert will feature music by Chopin, Moniusczko, and several Ukrainian composers.

Pasichnyk is a Polish-Ukrainian singer who won the Queen Elisabeth International Competition back in 2000 and was awarded the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland for her work at the Warsaw Opera where she became a soloist starting in 1992. She has also appeared with such companies as the Paris Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, Vlaamse Opera, Polish National Opera, Opéra de Lille, Teatro Real de Madrid, Opéra de Nice, and Opéra National du Rhin, among others.
