Three Huron athletes sign with colleges

HURON – Three Huron Tiger athletes signed letters of intent with colleges on Wednesday to continue their athletic and academic careers.

Isabella Cozzie signed with Denison University to run track. In her time running Huron track, Cozzie broke several school records and competed at state. She also played volleyball for Huron and was named first team SBC in Volleyball in 2021. Denison is a Division III private liberal arts college located in Granville.

Rae Roldan signed with California University of Pennsylvania to play volleyball. Roldan, along with Cozzie, played during the game where the Tigers won the State Championship in 2020. She was named second team SBC in 2021. Along with volleyball, Roldan played baseball and basketball. California University is a Division II public university in California, Pennsylvania.

Abram Fortune signed with Ashland University to play football. Along with being a kicker for the Huron Tiger football team, Fortune plays soccer. Ashland is a Division II private Christian university.

In April, Huron’s Jacob Eck and Joey Lenczyk signed letters of intent with Ashland.
