Outages fluctuate following weekend storms

HERMITAGE, Pa. (WKBN) – While power has been restored for most customers following storms this weekend, as of 9:30 a.m. Monday, Mercer County was reporting over 10,000 customers without service.

The hardest-hit area is Hermitage, but several other municipalities in Mercer County are without service.

These outages are impacting businesses and shopping areas.

According to the FirstEnergy outage map, power should be restored by 11 p.m. Monday.

At the height of the storms, thousands were without power across the Mahoning and Shenango valleys.

In Ohio, most power has been restored, however, there are just over 20 customers without power in Trumbull and Mahoning counties.
