Flea market in Highway 64 total loss

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF)-The flea market on highway 64 in Cleveland is a complete loss after a fire this afternoon and 10 firefighters needed to be treated for heat exhaustion due to the extreme heat
Bradley County EMA spokesperson Adam Lewis said just afternoon a call came in.

The property was owned by Bradley County commissioner Howard Thompson and had around 100 thousand dollars in fireworks stored on the property for the 4th of July show.

The fireworks as well as ammunition and propane tanks on property were a loss and made it tough to battle the fire.

The cause is still under investigation.
