All four Winnipeg Jets players at the IIHF World Hockey Championship had the day off on Friday, but they all got right back to work on Saturday as the preliminary round starts to wind down.

USA 3, SWEDEN 2 (OT)
Nate Schmidt and USA earned a big 3-2 overtime win over Sweden to improve their record to 2-2-0-1 at this year's event, putting them in third spot in Group B, three points clear of Czechia.
Schmidt played a big role in the game, scoring his first of the tournament to give the Americans a 2-1 lead with 1:02 remaining in the second period.
Carl Grundstrom tied the game for Sweden 6:56 into the third, before Adam Gaudette finished off a two-on-one in overtime, taking a pass from TJ Tynan. It was Gaudette's second goal of the game, with his first coming in the opening period.
Schmidt now has a goal and four points in five games. Up next, the USA takes on Czechia on Monday.

DENMARK 3, FRANCE 0
One goal in each period was all Nikolaj Ehlers and Denmark needed to shutout France on Saturday.
Ehlers had an assist in the game, which came on Denmark's second period marker from Joachim Blichfeld.
The power play goal started on Ehlers' stick in the left circle, and the 26-year-old sent a pass back to Markus Lauridsen at the point. Lauridsen sent it over to Blichfeld on the right side, and his shot got past a screened Henri Corentin.
With the assist, Ehlers maintains his point-per-game pace at this year's Worlds. He has one goal and five points in five games, with his Denmark team sitting fourth in Group A at 3-0-0-2.
Next up for Denmark is a match-up against Canada on Monday.

CANADA 3, SWITZERLAND 6
In the battle of undefeated teams at the top of Group A on Saturday, Canada got off to a strong start, but wasn't able to hold off a surging Swiss squad.
Each time Canada scored in the first, one of those a shorthanded marker by Jets forward Adam Lowry, the Swiss came back to tie.
All those responses came in under 90 seconds as well. Michael Fora made it a 1-1 contest 59 seconds after Kent Johnson opened the scoring.
Then, just 1:22 after Lowry converted his third goal in three games at the Worlds on a shorthanded breakaway, Dean Kukan pulled Switzerland even again.
To top off a wild first, Jonas Siegenthaler matched Drake Batherson's goal in the final minute, scoring with nine seconds remaining in the opening frame to make it 6-3.
From there, Swiss goaltender Leonardo Genoni shut the door on the Canadians, with Nico Hischier scoring the eventual game-winner in the second, with Pius Suter and Timo Meier scoring in the third to round out the scoring.
Lowry now has three goals and six points in five games, while Pierre-Luc Dubois - who had four shots on goal in the game - also has six points in five games.
Canada is 4-0-0-1 and plays Denmark on Monday.
