KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) —
The South Carolina Emergency Management Division reported an earthquake of 1.8 magnitude happened three miles east of Elgin, early Saturday morning.

The quake struck around 6:18 a.m. A earthquake was reported about 3.75 miles east-southeast of Elgin, South Carolina on May 19.
