RASMUS ANDERSSON ON GOAL FOR GAME 3:

ON WHY THE 'FOUNDATION' HAS BEEN MISSING:

"That's on us. We just haven't been playing our game yet and that's on us and we've just got to find our game and trust it and stick to it like we've been doing the whole year. We haven't done it for the first two games in Round 2 of the playoffs, so we've got to figure it out."

ON BACK-AND-FORTH BATTLE OF ALBERTA:

"There are a lot of emotions, but there were a lot of emotions against Dallas, too. ... It kind of felt like we invited them back into it yesterday, especially with our start to the game where we got the first two and then got into penalty trouble.
"We know how dangerous they are 5-on-4 and 4-on-4 and we've got to stay out of the penalty box. I think we took six yesterday and that's at least five too many against this team. They have a lot of skill up front, so we've just got to stay out of the box and stick to our system and do what we're good at."

ON BOUNCING BACK:

"I think it starts with the penalties and that's what we've been inviting them back into the game (with). They get momentum and that's when they're good. When you let them have time and space, that's when their skilled players take over and we've been letting them do that. It's a 3-3 game going into the third and we got a powerplay with nine minutes left and they score a shorthanded goal, and that's not good enough."

ON JACOB MARKSTROM'S PERFORMANCE:

'Did you hang him out to dry?'
"We did. Look at the game. It starts with the penalties and they get momentum from their powerplays. Without Marky, we would have lost by even more. We didn't do him any justice yesterday, that's for sure.
"It's on all 18 of us that played yesterday. Plain and simple, we have to play better."

'Plain and simple, we have to play better'

MARKSTROM ON HIGH-SCORING SERIES:

"Obviously, we knew it was going to be a different series. I think everyone knew that. (But) once again, it's 1-1 and we're off to Edmonton and we've got to go there and take home-ice back and take care of business and everyone - myself included - we need to take another step and get back to our game to be successful."

ON MINDSET FOR GAME 3:

"Zero-zero when the game starts tomorrow. You can't dwell on things. It's been too many goals against for me and I've got to be better and we've got a chance tomorrow."

ON HANDLING ADVERSITY:

"Obviously, whatever happened, happened. We've got to live in the moment. ... It's a privilege to play at this time of year and you have to embrace it and really get up for the games. Tomorrow is another great opportunity for us to go into their building - a big Game 3. It's up to us to be ready.
"We've got a great group and we've got to come together and have a good performance."

DARRYL SUTTER ON GAME 2 LOSS:

"I'm not pinning it on anybody. That's not fair at all. The difference between (Games) 1 and 2 would be chances, for and against And then break it into quality."

ON MARKSTROM OWNING HIS PERFORMANCE:

"That's a guy who wants to be the best. That's a great attribute to have."

ON GOALTENDING IN THE SERIES:

"When you go through series' where Oettinger had a... He'll end up when it's all said and done, leading the parade with goals against, save percentage in the playoffs. You know what? Your goaltending still has to be in that .920 (save-percentage range) and the way scoring usually is in the playoffs, under 2.50 (goals against) when it's all said and done. In terms of 'better' or any of that, I don't really look at that until the series is over."

Sutter reflects on Game 2, looks to Game 3

ON ALLOWING TWO BREAKAWAYS IN GAME 2:

"Those are mistakes. It's got nothin' to do with structure or anything. ... Those are just mistakes. That's one guy better than you and you off-set it by managing your ice and managing your work better. "
