Kadarius Toney battled multiple injuries in his rookie year, and his reportedly dealing with another as he prepares for his sophomore season.

According to Pat Leonard of the Daily News, the former first-round pick underwent a “minor arthroscopic” knee procedure, which would explain why he has been working out on the side during Giants OTAs.

Per Leonard, Toney is expected to be fully ready for training camp.

Toney battled hamstring, ankle, quad, oblique, and shoulder issues last season, limiting the 20th overall pick to 10 games and four starts last season. His name surfaced in multiple trade rumors after not initially showing up to the team’s voluntary pre-draft workouts, but general manager Joe Schoen squashed those rumors at the NFL Draft.
