Drugs, Interstate 90
On May 9 at 8:55 a.m. a road rage incident was reported on Interstate 90. An officer was able to locate and stop the suspected driver. While speaking with the driver, the officer observed that the driver was twitching, swearing, and slurring his words. The officer also observed suspected illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and drug abuse instruments in the car. The driver was arrested.
Theft, Center Ridge Road
On May 9 at 11 a.m. a Giant Eagle employee reported a theft was occurring and provided a description of the offender. Officers were able to locate a person that matched the description provided by the employee at the plaza across the street ,and the suspect was positively identified by the employee. He was arrested for theft.
Theft, Center Ridge Road
On May 9 at 2:55 p.m. a restaurant owner reported that a customer ordered food, ate, and informed staff that he could not pay. The owner declined prosecution. The 68-year-old man was told he was not welcome to return.
Suspicious, Morewood Pkwy
On May 12 at 3:45 a.m. a resident reported a person was at her back door, then went to the porch before settling in on her front yard. Officers found the 21-year-old Westlake man and quickly determined he was intoxicated. He was cited.
