Kylian Mbappe's Whatsapp Message To Florentino Perez Rejecting Real Madrid Revealed

Kylian Mbappe's Whatsapp Message To Florentino Perez Rejecting Real Madrid Revealed

Mbappe has signed a new three-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

Kylian Mbappe reportedly informed Real Madrid president Florentino Perez that he would not be joining the Spanish club with a message on Whatsapp.

Mbappe, 23, had been in talks with Madrid over a potential free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.

However, he has now committed his long-term future to PSG by signing a new three-year deal with the French champions.

Reports in Spain claim Mbappe told Perez he would not be joining Madrid with a short Whatsapp message, rather than calling him.

Spanish TV show El Chiringuito claim the message read as follows: "I'm communicating to you that I have decided to stay at PSG.

"I want to thank you for the opportunity you gave me to play at Madrid, the club I was fan of since I was a kid."

Perez is said to be furious with Mbappe's decision to remain at PSG, according to the Independent's chief football writer Miguel Delaney.

"In a surprise to no one, am told Perez is 'apoplectic'," tweeted Delaney.

"There is some surprise in Madrid they allowed it to get to this situation without Mbappe signing anything.

"If it was a normal situation, especially after Super League, Perez should be resigning…"

Mbappe is set to earn a staggering salary of £4m per month over the course of his contract, plus a huge £100m signing-on bonus payment.

An extraordinary report from Spain claims PSG have also vowed to make the France international the 'owner' of their sporting project.

El Chiringuito's Edu Aguirre claims PSG are prepared to give Mbappe the power to dictate transfers and even change coaches.

PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino is now expected to leave the club along with sporting director Leonardo, according to respected transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

"Kylian Mbappe will sign a three year deal with Paris Saint-Germain, the contract will be valid until 2025. It was approved in the morning," tweeted Romano.

"Pochettino & Leonardo are expected to leave, as @Romain_Molina says - PSG are already exploring options to replace them."
