WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take a look at USC missing out on top transfer target Jermayne Lole, excitement in the wide receiver room for the arrival of Jordan Addison, and cornerback Micah Tease’s top ten schools.

Losing out on Jermayne Lole

While USC landed a huge transfer target earlier this week in wide receiver Jordan Addison, they missed out on another big one in defensive lineman Jermayne Lole.

Formerly a star at Arizona State, Lole committed to Louisville yesterday. After four seasons with the Sun Devils, he entered the NCAA Transfer Portal earlier this offseason, reportedly to explore NIL opportunities.

According to reports, USC was pursuing Lole, and had been trying to get him on campus. The former Sun Devil also took a visit to Oregon earlier this offseason.

Excitement for Addison

It seems safe to say that USC’s wide receivers are excited about the newest addition to their position room.

Following the commitment of Addison on Thursday, multiple Trojan wideouts, including Kyle Ford, Brenden Rice, and Terrell Bynum, tweeted out their excitement to play with the Biletnikoff Award winner.

Tease’s top ten

Four-star cornerback Micah Tease released his top ten schools on Thursday, and USC made the cut.

A member of the class of 2023, Tease comes from Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. According to On3 Consensus, he is the number 150 player and the number 16 cornerback in his class.

In addition to USC, Tease’s top ten includes Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Texas A&M. Currently, On3 has the Razorbacks as the heavy favorites to land the cornerback.
