So, I have a dreadful track record with completing these games, and have basically disappeared from this part of the forum for 3 months for mental health and uni reasons. In that time, I've assembled a cast and some ideas for another game, which I'll do over the summer and complete in time for the new season cast announcements.
Since it's my version of Series 20, I'm going to try and keep it as similar to the main show as possible, with the same pros and same judges. If I do another game later in the year, I'll revamp the roster significantly since it's about time.
This one will have either 15 or 16 contestants. We have a female same-sex partnership however I might add an 8th male celeb into the lineup, who may or may not be in a male same-sex pairing. We'll see.

Steph McGovern!!
McGovern, 39, is best known as a journalist & TV presenter. Former business presenter on BBC Breakfast, now a face of daytime TV on Channel 4's show Steph's Packed Lunch. She's a very experienced Irish dancer so a bit of a ringer.
Steph will dance in a same-sex partnership with Karen Hauer.
Jermain Defoe!!
Defoe, 39, is a former footballer, who played as a striker. His senior career lasted from 1999 until 2022, and he is best known for 9 years at Tottenham Hotspur. Most recently played with Sunderland and also had played over the years in the English national team. He did some street dancing in his youth so could he be the first footballer on the show who is actually good?
Kim Woodburn!!
Woodburn, 80, is best known as one half of the presenting duo on Channel 4's How Clean Is Your House? which ran from 2003 until 2009. Since then, Woodburn has maintained a media career, including a stint on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! in 2009 and most famously, Celebrity Big Brother in 2017. At 80, Woodburn is the oldest ever contestant!
Bradley Simpson!!
Simpson, 26, is best known as the lead singer of boyband The Vamps. He sings the lead vocals and plays the guitar. The Vamps reached the top ten in the musical charts for some of their hits in the 2010s, including their debut single Can We Dance. He appeared on First Dates a few years ago but otherwise hasn't ventured into reality TV as opposed to his bandmates who have done IAC & DOI. Personally my favourite signing of the cast, he's been on my wishlist for the main show for a few years now.
Ellie Simmonds!!
Simmonds, 27, is a Paralympic swimmer who competed in four Paralympic Games, and won a total of five gold medals, plus one silver and two bronzes. She retired in 2021 following the Tokyo Paralympics. Simmonds has dwarfism and stands at a height of 123cm. Mathias Mester, another athlete with dwarfism was a finalist in the German version last night and Terra Jolé also did well at DWTS so Ellie could have a good run on this.
Harry Collett!!
Collett, 18, is an actor who is best known for roles on film and television. In the UK, he has played Oliver Hide on Casualty on and off for several years. He has starred in a few films, including a lead role in Dolittle and was also featured in Dunkirk. He also did some ballroom dancing back in 2014 in the "Baby, It's Cold Outside" music video. I think he's an up and coming type star and has had a few high profile projects but since he still does Casualty, I'm guessing SCD is still within the realms of possibility for him.
Tina Barrett!!
Barrett, 45, is best known as one of the singers in S Club 7, which ran from 1999 until 2003, in that time, the group released 4 number one singles plus 1 number one album. Following a few years out of the limelight, Barrett returned to music in 2012, with debut solo single 'Fire'. She has continued to release music in the past decade and has also performed in S Club 3. She has a significant dance background and even was involved with choreographing in the early days of Mis-Teeq. Basically a British Ashley Roberts, so probably a frontrunner.
Jon Snow!!!
Snow, 74, is best known as a presenter of Channel 4 News, serving in the role from 1989 until his retirement last year in 2021. Earlier in his career, he has served in many TV journalistic roles, notably as a correspondent for ITN, including in Washington DC from 1983 until 1986. A very recognisable face to pretty much everyone in Britain, I remember him being on TV when I was growing up.
Gus Kenworthy!!
Kenworthy, 30, is best known as an Olympic skier, who won silver at the 2014 Sochi Winter Games in the Slopestyle event. He competed for Team USA throughout his career until 2019, when he switched to competing for Team GB, representing Great Britain at the 2022 Beijing Winter Games, which were his final games prior to retiring. He also has dabbled in acting.
He will also dance in a same-sex partnership, currently undecided on his pro.
Roisin Conaty!!
Conaty, 43, is a comedian and actress. She is well known for stand up comedy, having performed on Russell Howard's Comedy Central and Live At The Apollo, alongside appearing on many comedy panel shows. She is also an actress, having starred in her own Channel 4 sitcom GameFace, which ran in various iterations from 2014 until 2019.
