Four people dead following Friday night crash

Four people are dead and three others are injured following a weekend crash in the Upstate. The two vehicle collision happened around 6 PM Friday evening on Highway 81 near Bradley Road, about 5 miles north of Anderson.

Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a Ford SUV crossed the centerline and hit a Honda SUV head on. 3 people in the Honda SUV died , two died at the scene and another died after being transported to the hospital. The driver of the Ford died at the scene and an 11 year old passenger was injured.

The Anderson County Coroner's Office identified those that died as 71 year old, Drew James Visoli, 71 year old Peggy Hobbs Visoli, 75 year old James Earl Lovorn and 48 year old William Douglas Larry who was the driver of the Ford. A dog that was in one of the vehicle also died in the crash. Those injured in the crash were transported to Greenville Memorial. The crash remains under investigation by the SCHP and the MAIT team.
