Fans of both Harry Styles and Taylor Swift are ecstatic since both albums have a song with the same title.
However, the "As It Was" hitmaker is dispelling certain rumors regarding his new song "Daylight" and its relation to his ex-girlfriend.
When asked about "The Howard Stern Show," Harry laughed and dismissed the concept that people wondered about the song.
"Here we go. You're reading too much into it. You know I'd love to tell you that you're spot on. But I can't. No. sorry."
The host then said, "I wonder who this woman was."
The British singer-actor then quipped, "We will always wonder."
When it comes to "Daylight," it appears that their songs sharing the same title is just coincidental.
In the same interview, Harry Styles characterized the song as being in love with someone, although he did not identify names.
He told Howard that, "'Daylight' was quite an early song on the album. It was one of my favorites, and it was kind of a stream of consciousness writing that happened kind of late."
The former One Direction band member felt compelled to complete the song as quickly as possible. So they worked all night, finished the song, and then walked to the beach to watch the sunrise.
Haylor dated for a few months in Nov. 2012 before calling it quits in Jan. 2013.
The singer of "Watermelon Sugar" is dating actress and director Olivia Wilde, while the singer of "All Too Well" is seeing Joe Alwyn.

During their brief romance, though, both vocalists were so taken with each other that they penned songs about their love and romance.
Taylor Swift has "Style," which is thought to be about Harry Styles, while One Direction's popular song "Perfect" is reported to be about Taylor.
Her connection with Harry was also addressed in "I Knew You Were Trouble."
They appear to be on excellent terms since last year.
Taylor and Harry were seen conversing at the 2021 Grammy Awards, and the blonde beauty even rose up to applaud her ex-boyfriend when he earned his first Grammy win for Best Pop Solo Performance.
