ST. JOSEPH — Pastor Ronald Schmidt has retired from his responsibilities as staff pastor at Peace Lutheran Church in St. Joseph, according to a news release.

Schmidt joined Peace Lutheran’s staff in 2001, following a rich and varied career serving multiple congregations in metro Detroit.
