San Francisco, CA – The Golden State Warriors are in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. They are arguably the healthiest they've been all year, but they are still without two key members. Gary Payton II (elbow) and Andre Iguodala (neck) are both out with injuries. But one of the two appears to be slightly ahead of schedule.

A little under two hours before Game 2 started, the Warriors announced Payton is making good progress. He's even beginning to do various workouts during practice. Before the series started, Steve Kerr said Payton could make a return this round since it's not a leg injury. The fact that it's his elbow, he will be able to keep his conditioning up to stay ready. Payton’s next evaluation will be next week.

Meanwhile for Iguodala, not much has changed since his last update. He's progressing, and there haven't been any setbacks. He's doing physical training, weight lifting, and light individual on-court activities during practice. Iguodala has missed eight straight games, and his next update will be when he rejoins the Warriors in practice.

Every time the Warriors are almost at full strength, another member of the team goes down. It hasn't hurt the squad much, but to win a championship they'll need everyone as healthy as possible.

The Warriors dominated Game 1, and the final score was 112-87. They aren't planning to have the same results every night but winning the series is the end goal. They come into Game 2 shorthanded and with an undefeated home postseason record. They plan to leave the night undefeated, too.
