Harry Styles Fans Think New Song Sounds Similar to Old Disney Channel Show

Following the release of Harry Styles' new album, Harry's House, some fans have noticed that one of his songs sounds very similar to a song from an old Disney Channel show.

On May 20, Styles released his third studio album, Harry's House, which has already reached No. 1 on the iTunes chart. The album has 13 songs on it and was called his "most intimate album" to date by Better Homes and Gardens.

As fans were listening to the album, some noticed that the melody in the first track titled "Music For a Sushi Restaurant" sounded similar to a tune from the early 2010's Disney Channel show A.N.T. Farm. In a viral TikTok posted by raejo01, they played the part in Styles' song then played "Exceptional" sung by China Anne McClain. The viral video has over 70,000 likes and 270,000 views.

Many other fans caught on and agreed that the songs sound alike.

"I WAS JUST TALKING TO SOMEONE AB THIS," exclaimed one fan.

"So ur telling me Harry is an ant farm stan," wrote another.

"I THOUGHT THE SAME THING INSTANTLY," one Styles fan exclaimed.

Another fan agreed, "I KNEW IT SOUNDED FAMILIAR."

"i literally listened to it and said 'it's giving ant farm,'" one admitted.

"I KNEW IT SOUNDED EXACTLY LIKE SOMETHING ELSE BYEEEE," exclaimed another fan.

"I WAS LITERALLY THINKING THIS BUT I THOUGHT I WAS GOING CRAZY," one said.

A.N.T. Farm was a Disney Channel Original Series that featured China Anne McClain, Jake Short and Sierra McCormick. The show had three seasons beginning in 2011 and ending in 2014.

A.N.T. Farm followed the kids of the Advanced Natural Talents program and their journey as middle school kids in high school. A soundtrack for the show was released in 2011 that featured the song "Exceptional," which was the series theme song.

In a new interview with Open House Party, Styles discussed how he's feeling about his brand new album.

"In general, the kind of new feeling for me was it's kind of the most like relaxed I think I felt putting music out it's such a stressful time and I think I feel good about what the album is and I'm excited about kind of it being time to start sharing it with people and playing it loud. I feel really good about it and relatively relaxed," he said.

Styles is also doing a "One Night Only" concert on May 20 to play his album live for the first time in New York. He will also be touring the world in the summer and the United States and Canada in the fall of this year.

Newsweek reached out to Styles' representatives for comment.
