Gerald “Jerry” W. Colson Sr., 61, passed away Feb. 19, 2022 In Bismarck, North Dakota. He was born in McCleary, Washington.
Jerry attended Mount. St. Helens High School in Winlock, Washington, and grew up in the Lewis County area. It was during his high school years that he met the love of his life, Lora Trainor. They married in 1980 and had two children, Charlane and Wade.
Jerry was an incredible mechanic. It was a craft he devoted his life to. He was fair and honest, doing everything he could to help people in such a stressful time. In his free time, he loved cooking, reading, playing chess, cars and spending time with family.
A potluck memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Christian Fellowship of Winlock, 630 Cemetery Road, Winlock, Washington.
