Those looking for a pet to add to their family can find one at Valley shelters.

Every Thursday, channel 5 News features a Pet of the Week from Palm Valley Animal Shelter, with the goal of getting the hundreds of dogs and cats adopted.

Workers at the shelter say now is the time to find that new pet – and they’re throwing a party to help out.
