Clarksville man arrested on child sexual material charges
FRANKLIN, Ky. – Police arrested a man on charges related to online sexual material involving minors following an investigation.
The indictment follows an investigation opened by the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 3. Throughout the investigation, Suiter was identified as the subject responsible for multiple electronic crimes involving juvenile victims, according to a release by Simpson County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 11, Randall Matthew Suiter-Crawford, also known as Matt Suiter, 31, of Clarksville, Tenn. was indicted by the Simpson County Grand Jury for three counts of distribution of obscene matter to a minor, one count of promoting a minor under 16 in sex performance, four counts of using a minor to distribute matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, four counts of possessing/viewing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, one count of criminal coercion and one count of distribution of matter portraying sex performance by a minor.
The release further stated officials executed a search warrant May 19 at Suiter’s residence of 1023 Waterford Court in Clarksville and gathered more evidence.
The Clarksville Police Department located Suiter at the time of the search warrant and arrested him as a fugitive.
On May 20, Suiter was transported to the Simpson County Detention Center and served with a Simpson County indictment warrant.
Both the Clarksville Police Department and the United States Department of Homeland Security assisted The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in this investigation.
