The local state environment office said the unusual color is from Sulphur bacteria that is normally found in deep water that made its way to the water's surface. Runners Race Over Seven Mile Bridge in Florida Keys Participants raced over Seven Mile Bridge connecting the Florida Keys on April 13, in the 43rd Annual 7 Mile Bridge Run. Footage filmed by the Florida Keys News Bureau gives both aerial and on-the-ground views of the 1,500-person race on Saturday. The race started at Sunshine Key, also known as Ohio Key, and ended at Isla Bella, according to organizers. The Florida Keys News Bureau reported Collin Wainwright of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, won the men’s division and was the first to cross the finish line, completing the race in 40 minutes and 33 seconds.
