Nebraska woman sentenced for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine

Nicole Peterson, of Norfolk, will serve 120 months with no parole.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nicole Peterson, 37, of Norfolk has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment with no opportunity for parole for her role in a methamphetamine operation.

U.S. District Judge Robert F. Rossiter Jr. sentenced Peterson on Friday for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of meth.

On March 30, 2019, law enforcement obtained a search warrant for a building in Kearney.

The building had been converted to a makeshift home by Peterson’s co-defendant, Rodney Randolph.

Peterson and Josiah Negley were present when the search was conducted.

The search resulted in law enforcement seizing 117 grams of methamphetamine.

The defendants admitted to obtaining the drug from Colorado to distribute in Kearney. Randolph is scheduled for sentencing on July 29, and Negley is awaiting trial.

After Peterson’s 120-month imprisonment is over, she will be released and supervised for five years.
