Des Moines, IA (KICD) — The Iowa Economic Development Authority on Friday approved awards for three companies who say they want to expand.

Moveero says it will expand their capacity at both their Armstrong and Estherville wheel manufacturing locations and create eleven jobs that will pay at least 19 dollars and five cents an hour. They’ll be awarded some tax breaks through the state’s HQJ – high quality Jobs – program. The firm says they’ll spend 9.6 million dollars on the expansion.

Wells Enterprises in Lemars says they’ll invest 70 million dollars to update equipment and introduce new products under its Blue Bunny trademark. They exppect the project to create 135 jobs, with 82 paying at least 23 dollars 94 cents per hour. They will also receive some tax breaks from the state of Iowa.

The third company is in Dyersville.
