Fallen peace officers of Pikes Peak honored in private ceremony

COLORADO SPRINGS — Law enforcement from across the Pikes Peak Region paid tribute to fallen officers despite rainy weather conditions.

33 Pikes Peak peace officers who gave their lives in the line of duty were honored in a small ceremony to end Police Week.

In a social media post, the El Paso County Sheriff’s office said, “Our fallen are never forgotten.”
