A wildfire outside of Camptonville, California may impact some travel between the Reno and Sacramento areas this weekend as crews work to contain the blaze.
As of 5:30 p.m. on May 20, evacuations around Yuba County have been lifted as crews make progress on the fire.
Road closures on Highway 49 between Ridge Road and Marysville Road will remain until late on Saturday.
As of 3:00 p.m. on May 20, more than 100 firefighters are working on the 25-acre fire which is 20% contained.
The Tahoe National Forest is in charge of suppression efforts for the Golden Fire.
Right now, there is a mandatory evacuation order for the area of Highway 49 & Yearling Lane, south of Marysville Road, east of Yearling Lane, and west of Highway 49.
Yuba County law enforcement agencies will keep a running list of evacuations on their emergency information page.
California transportation officials with Caltrans announced road closures between Highway 49 at Marysville Road and Highway 49 at Ridge Road to give fire crews room to work on the flames.
