6 K-pop Songs That Deserve Official Music Video: TWICE's 'Cry for Me,' EXO's 'The Eve,' More [Updated 2023]

When it comes to releasing new music, companies would usually release a lead single with an official music video. At times, they would also release one for a b-side track.

However, such a thing for b-sides is an uncommon case. While some b-side tracks are given a music video due to its popularity, there are some that aren't given as much attention despite the love from fans.

With that, here are 6 K-pop songs that deserve an official music video!

TWICE - 'Cry For Me'

"Cry For Me" was released in December 2020 as a pre-release track and a gift for TWICE's fans, ONCE. The song received lots of love, and the group performed it numerous times live on broadcast.

However, despite "Cry For Me" having an official choreography and being performed live, the song never got a music video for itself.

ENHYPEN - 'Polaroid Love'

ENHYPEN's "Polaroid Love" was released as a b-side track for the group's repackaged album "DIMENSION: ANSWER" released in January 2022.

Despite the song not being the album's lead track, ENHYPEN promoted the song on broadcast, and quickly became a favorite among fans for its addicting beats.

There is even a "Polaroid Love" challenge on Tiktok!

BLACKPINK - 'Pretty Savage'

BLACKPINK's "Pretty Savage" was also heavily promoted on broadcast, and saw commercial success in both Korea and overseas, with "Pretty Savage" being named as one of the best songs on the group's album "THE ALBUM."

While the song became tremendously popular, "Pretty Savage" unfortunately did not get its own music video.

GOT The Beat - 'Step Back'

Another highly successful song release that didn't get an official music video was "Step Back" by GOT The Beat. The group was launched by SM Entertainment to be the female counterpart of their supergroup SuperM.

While SuperM had a music video for their debut track, GOT The Beat only released a stage video as part of SMTOWN's online concert.

EXO - 'The Eve'

EXO's "The Eve" is undoubtedly one of the favorite songs among fans. Released in 2017, "The Eve" features a more sexy and dark vibe from the members.

Aside from the members' amazing vocals, the song also became popular among fans for its point choreography - slow hip thrusts!

EXO-Ls definitely think this was a missed opportunity for a music video!

BTS - 'Dionysus'

When BTS performs "Dionysus" live during events, it is definitely one of the most grand performances by the group. Not only is "Dionysus" loved for its high-energy choreography and powerful vocals from the members, but also for the impeccable stage design that comes along with it.

Given that "Dionysus" is already jaw-dropping as a live performance, many are wondering what it would be like as a music video.

What other songs do you think deserve a music video?
