The most recent signee is defensive end DeMarvin Leal, a third round pick from Texas A&M.

In his final year in the NCAA, Leal started in 12 games collecting a team leading 8.5 sacks and 12.5 tackles for a loss.

After his first day of Steelers rookie camp, Leal said that he feels he fits “perfectly” into the teams’ system.

Both Leal and the Steelers hope that the third-round pick can turn into a steal for the team.

Leal closed out his NCAA career as a finalist for the Ted Hendricks Award as the nation’s top defensive end.
