Friday's Yankees-White Sox game postponed, to be made up in doubleheader Sunday

Friday night's scheduled series opener between the Yankees and White Sox at Yankee Stadium has been postponed due to the forecast of inclement weather, and will be made up as the first game of a single-admission doubleheader Sunday beginning at 3:05 p.m.

Per the Yankees, gates will open at 2 p.m. Sunday, and only tickets for Sunday's originally scheduled ESPN Sunday Night Baseball game will be valid. Game 1, which will be broadcast exclusively on Prime Video, will begin at 3:05 p.m., and Game 2 will begin at 7:05 p.m. or approximately 30 minutes following Game 1, whichever is later, and broadcast on ESPN as scheduled.

Both games will also be broadcast on WFAN, with coverage starting at 2:25 p.m.

Also, Friday's scheduled Andy Pettitte bobblehead giveaway has been rescheduled for Friday, June 10, when the Yankees take on the Cubs.

Fans with paid tickets for Friday's game can redeem them may exchange them for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium subject to availability — including the rescheduled June 10 promotional date — as described in the Yankees’ rain check policy, which may be found at www.yankees.com/raincheck.
