ST. ALBANS (WGME) -- A Maine Game Warden and a Game Warden K-9 rescued a missing 11-year-old girl when she wandered away from home in St. Albans Friday.

Maine Game Warden Jake Voter and K-9 Koda were called in to help with the search near Square Road around 10:15 a.m.
The girl had gone missing around 9 a.m.
After a 45-minute search, Koda found the child in a boggy area near a stream.
Wardens say the girl was tired and cold, but otherwise healthy.

Voter carried the child back to her family.
