A man is in custody following a deadly shooting in Versailles Borough overnight.
Allegheny County Police say a car crashed into a building in the 4700 block of Walnut Street just after 12:30 a.m. Officers found a man in the car dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
21-year-old Tyrique Simmons is being charged with homicide, aggravated assault, stalking and recklessly endangering another person. He turned himself in to White Oak Police approximately 35 minutes after the car had crashed.
A 19-year-old female was also at the scene and was uninjured, according to officials.
Allegheny County Police say that the investigation is ongoing, as they try to nail down the exact specifics of what happened early overnight.
