Prince Andrew has become a favorite subject of criticism since Virginia Giuffre accused him of s*xual assault and intentional infliction. In court documents, the alleged victim claimed she was a victim of Jeffrey Epstein’s s*x trafficking and abuse from the age of 16.
Virginia Giuffre said Prince Andrew s*xually assaulted her on three occasions when she was under the age of 18. In an interview with BBC in 2019, she revealed Jeffrey Epstein and his then-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell to the Duke of York and recounted being told that she had to “do for Andrew what I do for Jeffrey.”
In February, Prince Andrew agreed to settle the civil suit filed by Virginia Giuffre regarding allegations of s*xual assault. The amount of payment was not disclosed but was thought to be between $13 million and $15 million.

Has Prince Andrew Been Canceled Following Virginia Giuffre’s Allegations?
Express UK reported royal author Tina Brown claimed that Prince Andrew, who repeatedly denied the allegations Virginia Giuffre made against him, has been told “you’re done” during a recent appearance on 60 Minutes Australia. Host Liam Bartlett stated:
"Prince Andrew obviously didn't get the email that he was supposed to stay on the sidelines, what is that complete arrogance or is it stupidity.”
Tina Brown responded:
"Stupidity. Andrew has always been a dim bulb and something of an oaf, lets face it. It's going to be a problem, Andrew has been cancelled, essentially, I mean you couldn't get more cancelled than Andrew, right.”
The royal author added:
“He’s been told ‘you’re done’ but where do you stash a 61-year-old healthy man who has no desire to be stashed anywhere and who’s going to keep trying to push himself out onto the public stage. He’s not going quietly, I mean, in previous centuries, Andrew would have been sort of, banished to the borders, you know, and locked up in some castle. You know, you can’t do that in the 21st century.”
Of Prince Andrew, Tina Brown concluded:
“Andrew lives a stone throw from Mummy in Windsor Great Park and he’s going to be out there at every turn.”

To recall, journalist Emily Maitlis quizzed over Prince Andrew about the s*x abuse allegations by Virginia Giuffre. The father of Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice reportedly had close ties with convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein and he previously stated he did not regret his friendship with Epstein.
Following the controversial interview, Prince Andrew stepped back from his senior royal roles and decided to stay away from the limelight for a while. However, in an unexpected move, Queen Elizabeth entered Westminster Abbey on the arm of her disgraced son during Prince Philip’s memorial service in March.
Prince Andrew ‘Obsessed’ With Returning To Royal Public Life?
Royal author Tina Brown, during her appearance on 60 Minutes Australia, also stated Prince Andrew could use his relationship with Queen Elizabeth to guide his return to royal public life. She said:
“Andrew fully expects to be rehabilitated. He’s not even accepted that he’s going to have to have a quiet few years.”
The royal expert furthered Prince Andrew is keen to return to his traditional royal status following the removal of his public royal duties. Tina Brown continued:
“Andrew believes, strongly, that he can get back. I’m told that this is something that he is obsessed with, that he believes is going to happen. That overdue time he will get back into the mix.”

Securing his position with Queen Elizabeth’s approval would give Prince Andrew stability as she is the leading figure of the royal family. Tina Brown shared:
“Of course his mother, right now, is the best route as he sees it. The Queen’s stature is such that no one is going to say to her you cannot see your son. Even though she has no desire now to have him seen with her on balconies and understands, knows and wishes for him to not be part of that, he can keep pushing his face in.”
Prince Andrew and Buckingham Palace have yet to comment on the statements of Tina Brown.
