Claudia Chapa, Norman Shankle, Esther Heideman, Kerry Wilkerson Headline National Philharmonic’s Final Concert of 2021-22 Season

The National Philharmonic is set to close out its 2021-22 season with a special concert performance on June 5, 2022.

Piotr Gajewski will conduct the showcase, which takes place at The Music Center at Strathmore, and features a performance of Beethoven’s “Missa Solemnis.”

Soloists include Claudia Chapa, Norman Shankle, Esther Heideman, and Kerry Wilkerson. The presentation will also feature the National Philharmonic Chorale.

The concert kicks off at 3 p.m. local time. All guests must be fully vaccinated or show a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance.

The National Philharmonic recently unveiled its 2022-23 season, which will feature performances of Händel’s “Messiah,” Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, Bach’s Mass in B Minor, and Orff’s “Carmina Burana,” among other works.
